Come on girls…. How many of us can say they have used a whole pot of lip balm without losing it? …… Didn’t think so. Lip balm is always something I carry everywhere I go and is an essential product in my handbag for my lips to keep them looking lush 24/7. Here is a neat way to make your own lip balm so even if you do lose it, you can simply make some more. It even makes a great gift too
Materials needed:
• 2 Tablespoons of white beeswax pellets
• 4 Tablespoons of sunflower oil
• Few drops or strawberry flavour oil
• Lip shavings (any choice of shade you like)
Steps:
₁ Place the beeswax pellets and sunflower oil into a microwaveable bowl.
₂ Heat on a low to medium heat until the beeswax pellets have melted and stir with a metal spoon.
₃ Use a Pipette and place a few drops of strawberry oil into bowl.
₄ Gradually start adding the lipstick shavings. You can also adapt flavours to suit different shades it’s that simple. Keep stirring with metal spoon and adding shavings until you reach the shade you prefer.
₅ Using a fresh pipette transfer the lip balm into either small pots or any container of your choice.
₆ Allow lip balm to set
